ABOUT US
THE VISION
Charlotte County, Florida sits at an extraordinary crossroads. It is home to one of the fastest-growing 55+ populations in the state — and, at the same time, it is a community where homeless youth, aging-out foster children, and veterans without stable housing are searching for a place to belong.
These groups do not often sit at the same table. This competition is an invitation to change that.
GENERATIONS BY DESIGN asks a bold, simple question:
What if the 82-year-old and the 18-year-old were next-door neighbors — by choice, by design, and by mutual support?
A duplex is not merely two units under one roof. It is an architecture of relationship.
THE PORCH DIFFERENCE
PORCH is a community that refuses to build walls between generations. We have watched seniors flourish when paired with young neighbors in need — and we have watched homeless youth and veterans stabilize when given the dignity of a real home and a real neighbor.
